This week's Cooking Electives
This Thursday, our Year 11 and 12 students cooked up a storm creating Homemade Chicken Souvlaki, paired with 2-ingredient flatbread, and indulged in Chocolate Mousse with a touch of salted caramel.

Year 11 Biggest Morning Tea
As part of the year 11 Personal Development Unit, students participated in running The Biggest Morning Tea with the Hills Church Op Shop in Ferntree Gully on Thursday the 30th of May.

Urban College hosted our local MP Jackson Taylor. It was great to host Jackson, our local member of Parliament, during our first term.

On Friday 16th February the year 12 students went to Hardrock Indoor Climbing Centre as part of the Personal Development curriculum.

During the term, our Year 10 and 11 female students were lucky enough to undertake a body confidence workshop. Changing negative perseptions into positive ones.
Cardinia Reservoir Orienteering
On Thursday 26th October the year 11 and 12 students went to Cardinia Reservoir Park and undertook an Orienteering activity as part of their Numeracy, Dimension and Direction unit.
Year 10 Wellbeing Sessions
Wellbeing Sessions focus on building life skills and resilience. Year 10s are offered the opportunity to participate in a range of activities designed to increase their capacity, social and emotional strengths, and community engagement.
IDAHOBIT Day is happening on Thursday 14th of September
Urban College participates in IDAHOBIT Day, which is the international day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia.
Last Day of Term 3 – Friday 15th of September
The end of the term is fast approaching, it has been an action-packed term with excursions to the Melbourne Zoo, Victorian Career and Employment Expo, The Lume Connection, and the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie.
