Year 12 Students Explore Road Safety at the Museum
Our Year 12 students recently headed to the museum as part of their PDS and WRS learning, exploring the Government’s commitment to achieving zero road deaths by 2050.
During the visit, students considered how roads can be made safer for everyone, including drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Through interactive activities, they explored stopping distances at different speeds and in varying road conditions, seeing first-hand how factors such as speed and road conditions can affect safety.
The excursion was a great opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with practical, real-world situations and build their understanding of how everyone can contribute to safer roads.
