Urban College Celebrates Pride Month

Urban College recently celebrated Pride Month with a vibrant community event that brought students together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and belonging.

The day featured a community BBQ, games and opportunities for students to connect in a welcoming and supportive environment. Students were encouraged to reflect on and share what Pride means to them, sparking thoughtful conversations and creating a space where everyone felt respected and heard.

Throughout the celebration, students also had access to a range of LGBTQIA+ resources and support information, helping to build awareness, encourage understanding and reinforce the importance of creating an inclusive school community.

The event highlighted Urban College's commitment to fostering an environment where every student feels safe to be themselves and is valued for who they are.
