Year 12 Students Conquer New Heights at Hard Rock Nunawading

Year 12 Students Conquer New Heights at Hard Rock Nunawading

On Monday the 3rd of March, eight students participated in a rock-climbing session, working in pairs to improve teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. One student belayed while the other climbed, fostering trust and cooperation between partners.

A memorable moment came when Teesh and Liam had a friendly race to the top, pushing each other to perform at their best. This competitive yet supportive atmosphere inspired the entire group to challenge themselves. Several students reached the top, demonstrating not only their physical strength but also their determination and focus.

This hands-on experience provided more than just a physical challenge—it was an opportunity for students to build essential interpersonal skills in a fun, engaging environment. From working closely with their peers to overcoming their fears and pushing their limits, the students left with valuable life lessons that will help them in both their studies and beyond.

A big thanks to Year 12 Teacher Suzi and Jen, our Wellbeing Counsellor, for facilitating such a memorable and impactful day!
