Congratulations Lachlan on Achieving the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

A huge congratulations to Lachlan on achieving the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – an outstanding accomplishment and a testament to his dedication, perseverance and commitment to personal growth.

The Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is the highest level of the program and requires participants to challenge themselves across several areas of development over an extended period of time. To achieve the award, participants complete regular volunteering, develop a new skill, participate in physical recreation activities, undertake an adventurous journey and complete a residential project that involves working and living alongside people they may not know.

The program is designed to encourage young people to step outside their comfort zones, build resilience, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and make meaningful contributions to their communities. It requires significant commitment, self-motivation and persistence, making the Gold Award a highly respected and prestigious achievement.
