Giving Back to Backpack 4 Kids

Urban College Boronia’s SRC students recently had the opportunity to give back to Backpack 4 Kids, a charity that has generously supported our College and provides essential items to children and families in need.

Our students visited the Backpack 4 Kids warehouse, where they rolled up their sleeves and helped with the important work that goes on behind the scenes.

From preparing backpacks to sorting essential school supplies, clothing, toiletries and toys, students were able to get hands-on and see firsthand the difference Backpack 4 Kids makes within the community.

The visit was also a valuable opportunity for our students to experience volunteering and understand how giving their time can make a meaningful contribution to others.

We are incredibly grateful for the support Backpack 4 Kids has provided to Urban College, and it was wonderful for our students to have the opportunity to return that kindness by lending a helping hand.

We’re very proud of our SRC students for demonstrating compassion, connection and a genuine sense of community spirit.
