Students Get Hands-On at Swinburne University Trade Workshop

Urban College students recently swapped the classroom for the workshop during an engaging visit to Swinburne University.

Students rolled up their sleeves and took part in a range of hands-on plumbing and trade activities, giving them the opportunity to learn practical skills and experience what working in the trades can involve.

The workshop provided a valuable introduction to different trade and vocational career pathways, allowing students to explore their interests in a practical environment and gain a better understanding of the training opportunities available beyond school.

Experiences like these are an important part of helping students connect their learning with potential future pathways and discover where their skills and interests could take them.
