Term 2 Wrap-Up at Urban College
As we head into the school holidays, we'd like to thank our students, families and staff for another fantastic term at Urban College.
Term 2 has been filled with opportunities for students to learn, connect and grow both inside and outside the classroom. From celebrating Pride Month and enjoying FIFA World Cup activities to exciting excursions and valuable workplace experiences, it has been wonderful to see our students embracing new challenges and creating lasting memories.
Some of the highlights from the term included:
- Pride Month celebrations promoting inclusion and diversity.
- FIFA World Cup activities that encouraged teamwork and friendly competition.
- A fun-filled Year 12 excursion to Hijinx Hotel and Archie Brothers.
- Year 10 work experience placements, providing valuable insight into future career pathways.
- Golf outings and community excursions.
- Practical, hands-on learning experiences across a range of subjects.
- Countless classroom achievements as students continued to build confidence and develop new skills.
Every experience throughout the term has helped students strengthen their independence, develop real-world skills and build positive relationships with their peers and teachers.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing two-week holiday break. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday 13th July, refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning.
