About Urban College
Urban College is a dynamic and inclusive senior secondary school in Outer East Melbourne, offering a fresh approach to education for young people in Years 10 to 12. Designed for young people seeking an alternative to mainstream schooling, Urban College combines academic rigour with a deep commitment to wellbeing, personal growth, and real-world relevance.
We believe that when students feel connected, supported, and empowered, learning becomes transformational. That’s why our approach is grounded in relationships, choice, and innovation. Our experienced educators and support staff work closely with each student to build confidence, unlock potential, and tailor pathways that reflect individual goals and strengths.
Through the Victorian Curriculum and the VCE Vocational Major, we offer hands-on, applied learning opportunities that engage students in meaningful and practical ways. Our programs extend beyond the classroom to include flexible working environments, community-based projects, and targeted tutoring—ensuring students can thrive wherever they are.
