Year 10 Consent Education
Wed 3 September, 9:15am - 2:45pm
Onsite
As part of the Year 10 Health and Physical Education and General Curriculum, students will be participating in a vital incursion focused on consent education.
Delivered by qualified educators from Eastern Health, this workshop will provide students with the knowledge and skills to understand, communicate, and respect personal boundaries and the boundaries of others.
This interactive session will explore topics such as:
-
The meaning and importance of consent in different contexts
-
Communication, respect, and healthy relationships
-
Recognising and responding to unsafe or coercive behaviours
-
Legal and ethical responsibilities around consent
Aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, this incursion supports students in developing respectful relationship skills, emotional literacy, and critical thinking around social norms and decision-making.
It forms an essential part of our ongoing efforts to empower students to make informed, respectful, and safe choices in their relationships and everyday lives.
